EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

While Bethesda Christian School does not have a full special education program, we do seek to meet the needs of our students with mild learning issues, such as dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, dysgraphia, etc., with our available resources. If a teacher or parent has concerns that warrant testing, BCS works with Brownsburg Special Education private school representatives for an initial consultation and subsequent evaluation.

BCS offers speech therapy services as well as occupational therapy services provided by the Brownsburg Community School Corporation on a limited basis. For students with a diagnosed learning disability and a service plan, BCS provides certain classroom accommodations as well as pull-out support in one-on-one or small group settings, based on the recommendations in the student service plan.
